Pimpri Chinchwad: Stop All Illegal Activities Or Face Action, Police Commissioner Krishna Prakash Warns Cops

Pimpri Chinchwad, September 18, 2020: “All illegal businesses should be stopped under your jurisdictions else strict action would be taken against you”, Commissioner of Police Krishna Prakash warned Senior Police Inspectors, in-charge of police stations, during a meeting.

The meeting was divided into two sessions-morning and afternoon sessions. In the morning session, inspectors from Pimpri, Chinchwad, Nigdi, Bhosari, MIDC Bhosari, Chakan, Dighi and Alandi police stations were called.

“Get rid of pending crimes immediately. Dispose of crimes with accidental death record”, he suggested. To this, the police officials responded, the cause of death could not be ascertained as no report was received from the doctors. The top cop responded, “If the doctors do not report the cause of death, file a case against them and arrest them.”

Meanwhile, in the afternoon session, a meeting of officers from Sangvi, Wakad, Hinjawadi, Dehuroad, Chikhli, Talegaon, MIDC-Talegaon police stations was held. During the meeting, the Commissioner of Police also reviewed the major cases and directed Inspectors to resolve the pending cases immediately.
