Pimpri Chinchwad Traffic Police Intensify Action Against Rule Violators

Pimpri, November 4, 2020: The traffic branch of Pimpri-Chinchwad police is taking strict action against those violating traffic rules. Since September there is an increase in the number of violators as more activities were allowed during the lockdown. The traffic branch police personnel also get target meet a target about the number of cases to be done in a day.

After the ease of lockdown, the traffic police took action on more violators. It is observed that the action taken by traffic police in just one month was more than a year.

No parking, wrong side, rash driving are few rules for which the strict actions were taken in August and September. 5,686 people were charged fines in July for parking vehicles in no parking, while 6,791 people in September. Most of the action of this year took place in these two months. In September 1000 people were charged for rash driving and 5,402 for driving on the wrong side.
