Delhi, January 30, 2021: During the all-party meeting on the budget session in Parliament, PM Modi made a big statement about the farmer movement. If sources are to be believed, PM Modi told all the party leaders that the path of dialogue between the farmer and the government is always open. He said, “I would like to repeat the talk of Narendra Tomar. Even though the government and the farmers have not reached a consensus, we are keeping options before the farmers. They should discuss it. The distance between farmers and me is just one call.”

In the all-party meeting, PM Narendra Modi said that the government is ready for discussion on all issues, and in this discussion, all topics will be discussed and all parties will get a chance to speak. PM Narendra Modi said that through Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar, the offers are given to the farmers still stand. The government is always ready to talk to the farmers. Giving information about the All-Party meeting, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Prahlad Joshi said, “Today, 18 parties took part in the all-party meeting and discussions were held on farmers and agriculture law. During this time it has been agreed to give more time to small parties, but appeals have not been made to the big parties not to disturb the discussion.”

In this meeting, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Prahlad Joshi, Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Arjun Meghwal, and V Muralidharan are involved through video conferencing. In this meeting, the budget session went smoothly and the issue of participation of all opposition parties in the discussion on the President’s address was also discussed.

On behalf of the government, all the opposition parties have been assured that the government is ready to discuss all the issues including the laws related to agriculture. Earlier on the first day of the budget session, 20 opposition parties boycotted the President’s address, so the government is trying not to create a ruckus in the budget session.
Hanuman Beniwal will not join

National Democratic Party chief Hanuman Beniwal has announced that he will not participate in the all-party meeting. He said that he took this decision to show support for the farmers’ movement.

LJP chief Chirag Paswan will not be able to attend this meeting. It is being told that Chirag is ill. They have a sharp fever. He has also given a sample for the corona test. Apart from the all-party meeting, he will not be able to attend the NDA meeting either.

Before the commencement of the budget session of Parliament on Friday, before the address of President Ram Nath Kovind, the leaders of the opposition created a lot of uproars. Congress party MPs staged a sit-in protest at the statue of Mahatma Gandhi inside the Parliament complex over the withdrawal of agricultural laws. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi led the party MPs.

Earlier, Congress MP Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary had said about the boycott of the President’s address, “The boycott of the President’s address is not insulting him. We are standing with farmers and demanding the withdrawal of agricultural laws. This is the biggest reason for boycotting the President’s address. We will participate in the debate on the vote of thanks on the address.”

In view of the protests against the agricultural laws, there is a clear possibility of the budget session being rude. Opposition parties are preparing to surround the Modi government in the House on the farmers’ movement, India-China issue, the country’s declining economy, and WhatsApp chats leak case.
