PMC allots specific work roles to two top officials to manage the COVID-19 crisis in the city

Pune, July 30 2020: To tackle the spread of the COVID-19 infection in the city, Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has appointed two officials from the state cadre- Nitin Bilolikar and Ramchandra Hankare.  

Additional Municipal Commissioner Rubal Agarwal said that Bilolkar will be assigned to look after-

1. Collection of samples of all suspected patients.

2. Management of laboratory reports.

3. Tracing of patients and other surveys.

4. Updating data on the websites.

5. Management of the ‘war room’ and the home quarantine cells.

6. Enabling the use of hospitals belonging to the PMC for admitting and treating COVID-19 patients.

Hankare has been assigned to deal with the-

1. Management of beds in private hospitals.

2. Management of health department staff, COVID Care Centres (CCCs) and stores.

3. Office work.
