Police Arrest Rickshaw Driver Who Robbed Passengers In Pune Station Area
Pune, 3rd November 2022: The Bund Garden police arrested a thief who robbed passengers in the Pune station area. A week ago, a foreign passenger was robbed by a rickshaw puller and his accomplices. The arrested thief has been identified as Dattatraya Dagdu Mohite (43), a resident of Bhekrai Nagar, Hadapsar.
Mohite is a rickshaw puller. Last week, a passenger from a foreign state was threatened and robbed by rickshaw puller Mohite and his accomplices on the pretext of dropping off a rickshaw on the Pune-Solapur road. Two accomplices of Mohite were arrested by the police in this case. Mohiti was being searched by the police.
Police officer Gnana Bade of Bund Garden police station received information that Mohite was staying near Blue Nile Hotel in the Lashkar area. After that, the police laid a trap and caught him. Sub-inspectors Ravindra Gawde, Amol Sarde, Anil Kusalkar, Sanjay Vanve, and others took this action under the guidance of Bund Garden Police Station Senior Inspector Pratap Mankar, and Police Inspector Ashwini Satpute.
