Mumbai : Head constable Vilas Shinde, 51, had died in the intensive care unit of Lilavati Hospital in Bandra (west) on Wednesday afternoon. He was reportedly attacked with a wooden rod by a young bike rider after he asked for the vehicle documents at a petrol pump in Mumbai.
