Poona Club Lifts Grover Cup in Landmark 30th Edition
Pune, 15 February 2026: In a significant sporting milestone, Poona Club clinched the prestigious Grover Cup, emerging champions at the 30th edition of the Grover’s Inter-Club Tournament and bringing the coveted trophy back to Pune.
The triumph was widely celebrated within the club and hailed as a proud moment under the leadership of Gaurav Gadhoke, President of Poona Club. Members and officials praised the team’s discipline, unity and resilience, which proved decisive throughout the tournament.
The winning campaign was led by Golf Captain Jay Shirke, while Ikram Khan served as Grover’s Team Captain. Aditya Kanitkar played a crucial role in team coordination and overall support.
