Before this, a low-pressure area is likely to form on November 22, with forecasts indicating a possible depression by November 24.

Under the influence of this developing system, southern Maharashtra districts—Solapur, Sangli, Kolhapur, Sindhudurg, and Ratnagiri—are expected to receive very light to light rainfall between November 22 and 24.
