Pune, February 20, 2021: There has been a continuous rise in the prices of petrol and diesel in Pune this month.
According to Ali Daruwala, the spokesperson of the All India Petrol Dealers Association (AIPDA), today petrol is being sold for Rs 96.6 per litre, Power petrol Rs 100.31 per litre, diesel Rs 86.36 per litre and CNG Rs 55.50 per kg.
“We will be able to arrest the price rise only if the Maharashtra and Central governments reduce taxes on the petroleum products”, Daruwala said.
Along with petrol and diesel, the prices of LPG also continue to rise. On one hand, the budget of the common man has been disturbed by this continuous increase in the prices of petroleum products. At the same time, industrial units and the market have also been affected. The business of open markets has not returned properly after the lockdown.
