PRATIBIMB: Photography Exhibition Spotlights Passionate Professionals Behind the Lens in Pune

Pune, 7th May 2025: For three days, the Balgandharv Kaladalan in Pune will transform into a vibrant gallery of natural beauty and artistic expression as PRATIBIMB opens its doors to the public. From May 8 to 10, the exhibition will showcase stunning wildlife, bird, landscape, and offbeat photography by ten working professionals who have embraced photography as a heartfelt passion beyond their daily careers.

Organized by Pune Cotton Company in collaboration with Deham Naturecure and Krutarth – Feels Satisfied, PRATIBIMB brings together the creative vision of Amar Atitkar, Ameya Walwekar, Omkar Mulgund, Kedar Dandage, Vilas Tolsankar, Sameer Ayyar, Vishvesh Behare, Anantprasad Deshpande, Amod Phadke, and Sagar Mutha.

“Each photographer in this exhibition tells a unique story—not just through their images, but through the journey they’ve taken to pursue photography amidst their professional commitments,” said curator Omkar Mulgund, who has meticulously curated the collection to offer visitors an immersive and meaningful experience.

The inauguration ceremony, scheduled for 10:30 AM on May 8, will be attended by distinguished guests including:

The exhibition not only captures nature through diverse lenses but also celebrates the dedication of individuals who have found a creative outlet in photography. Visitors can expect to see everything from majestic birds in flight to quiet forest trails and abstract interpretations of landscapes.

“Photography for me is a way to pause, observe, and reconnect with the world around me,” said participating photographer Kedar Dandage. “It’s deeply personal, yet universally relatable.”
