Price Of Silver Increases, Golds Prices Remain Unchanged

Pune, 8th December 2022: The price of silver jumped in early trade Wednesday (December 7), with 10 grams of gold (24-karat) selling for Rs 54,000. The price of gold remained unchanged. Silver prices increased on Wednesday by Rs. 700 per kg, to Rs. 66,200 per kg.

 

According to the GoodReturns website, ten grams of 22-carat gold are now trading at Rs 49,500, down Rs 300 from Tuesday’s close.

 

The price of 10 grams of 22- and 24-carat gold in Mumbai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Kerala, and Pune was Rs. 49,500 and Rs. 54,000, respectively.

 

Gold in Delhi was selling for Rs 49,650 for 22-carat and Rs 54,150 for 24-carat. 10 grams of 22- and 24-carat gold were sold in Chennai for Rs. 50,230 and Rs. 54,790, respectively.

 

As of 0008 GMT, the spot price of gold was slightly changed at $1,770.46 per ounce.

 

In Delhi and Mumbai, the cost of 1 kilogram of silver was Rs 66,200. The price of the metal in Chennai, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad was Rs 71,300 per kilogram.

 

Spot silver increased by 0.1% to $22.13 while platinum and palladium remained unchanged at $988.42 and $1,848.48, respectively.
