Prime Minister Narendra Modi Unveils BJP Manifesto, Titled ‘BJP’s Resolution – Modi’s Guarantee’
New Delhi, 14th April 2024: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, alongside top BJP leaders, unveiled the Bharatiya Janata Party’s manifesto for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, christened ‘BJP’s Resolution – Modi’s Guarantee,’ during an event held at the party office in Delhi on Sunday.
Joining PM Modi on stage were BJP President JP Nadda, Union Ministers Rajnath Singh, Amit Shah, and Nirmala Sitharaman. The inaugural copy of the resolution letter was ceremoniously presented to three individuals from Gujarat, Haryana, and Chhattisgarh, beneficiaries of previous Modi government schemes. Additionally, a video highlighting the accomplishments of the past decade and the fulfillment of promises was released by the party.
Addressing the gathering, Party President Nadda and Resolution Committee Chairman Rajnath Singh expressed their perspectives before Prime Minister Modi took center stage. During his 46-minute address, PM Modi recounted the achievements of the past decade, notably highlighting milestones such as the abrogation of Article 370 and the enactment of women’s reservation.
Turning to the future, PM Modi outlined key guarantees for the 2024 electoral manifesto. These include assurances of free medical treatment up to Rs 5 lakh for individuals above 70 years under the Ayushman Bharat Scheme, housing for 3 crore people, and free rations for the economically disadvantaged until 2029.
PM Modi affirmed that the BJP’s ‘Sankalp Patra’ would kick off immediately following the declaration of election results on June 4. He underscored the government’s ongoing efforts through a 100-day action plan, aligning with the aspirations of 140 crore Indians.
In a resolute stance against corruption, PM Modi emphasized the BJP government’s relentless crackdown on corrupt practices over the past decade, affirming that those who exploit the poor will face legal repercussions. He underscored the need for decisive action to shape India’s future, promising to continue the government’s anti-corruption efforts.
Highlighting the government’s commitment to transformative policies, PM Modi cited legislative achievements such as the Nari Shakti Vandan Act, the revocation of Article 370, and the enactment of the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA). He reiterated the BJP’s dedication to national interest, pledging to pursue reforms aimed at fostering economic prosperity and national security.
PM Modi also outlined ambitious plans for India’s advancement, envisioning the nation as a global leader across various sectors, including space exploration, renewable energy, and technology. He underscored initiatives to bolster India’s infrastructure and economy, including the expansion of electric vehicle charging stations and the development of green energy sectors.
With a vision for a self-reliant India, PM Modi affirmed the BJP’s commitment to accelerating sectors such as renewable energy and defense, aiming to reduce dependence on imports. He outlined plans for the expansion of the Vande Bharat Express network and the development of high-speed rail corridors across the country.
As the BJP charts its course for the 2024 elections, PM Modi’s manifesto promises to steer India towards prosperity and self-sufficiency, underscoring the party’s vision for a vibrant and resilient nation.
