Private Trains From Pune To Six Cities Planned By Central Government Under National Monetization Pipeline

Pune, 27th August 2021: Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has announced the National Monetization Pipeline. Accordingly, the central government will raise Rs 6 lakh crore by selling or leasing shares in various government properties. Of this, Rs 1.2 lakh crore will come from the privatization of railways.

For this, 400 railway stations in the country, 90 passenger trains, 15 railway grounds, and 265 goods trains will be rented. The 90 passenger trains are going to be private. This includes six long-distance trains departing from Pune station. Pune – Delhi, Pune – Bhopal, Pune – Patna, Pune – Howrah, Pune-Dibrugarh and Pune – Prayagraj.

The tender process for the private company will start soon. The Ministry of Railways has already planned the routes. While announcing 12 clusters, Railways has also announced the schedule of the respective trains. The journey in private trains will be more comfortable, clean and luxurious. Of course, passengers will have to be prepared to pay higher ticket prices. The speed of these trains will be higher. They will leave 30 minutes before the standard time.

1. Pune-Delhi-Pune will leave at 6 pm every day. It will reach Delhi at 1 pm the next day. It will leave Delhi at 3:20 pm and reach Pune at 11 am the next day.

2. Pune – Bhopal – Pune will run three days a week. It will leave Pune at 3:20 pm on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays and reach Bhopal at 6 am the next day. It will leave Bhopal at 5:55 pm on Wednesdays, Sundays, and Fridays and reach Pune at 8:20 am the next day.

3. Pune – Patna – Pune will run two days a week. It will leave Pune at 7:05 am. The next day at half past noon will reach Patna. It will leave Patna at 11:10 pm and reach Pune on the third day at 7 am.

4. Pune – Howrah – Pune will run two days a week. It will leave Pune on Thursday and Sunday at 6:55 am. The next day at 11 am will reach Howrah. It will leave Howrah at 6:10 pm on Tuesdays and Fridays and reach Pune at 8:55 pm the next day.

5. Pune- Prayagraj- Pune will run three days a week. It departs every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday at 10:20 p.m. Prayagraj will reach the next day at 9 pm. It will leave Prayagraj station every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 10:20 pm and reach Pune at 9 pm the next day.

6. Pune – Dibrugarh (Assam) – Pune will run once a week. It will leave Pune at 10.30 am every Sunday and reach Dibrugarh at 5.30 am on Wednesday. It will leave Dibrugarh at 5.10 am on Wednesday and reach Pune at 2.30 am in two days.
