Producers Issued Notice by Election Commission for Advertisements in Between TV Serials

Mumbai, April 9: The State Election Commission has issued show-cause notice to the serial producers on Zee TV and And TV, for doing publicity of various government schemes in between TV serials on these channels , Additional Chief Election Officer Dilip Shinde said.

Complaints were received about the violation of the code of conduct by promoting Central Government schemes on Zee TV and And TV in between Serials . The Chief Election Office took notice of these complaints. On both these channels, the producers of related sirials have been issued notice to give their reply in 24 hours regarding this. After their reply is received, further action will be taken by the Commission, said Mr. Shinde.
