PS Charity Wing Foundation by Pune Social Group Donates Raincoats to Tribal Children in Maval
Pune, 22nd July 2025: In a heartfelt gesture to support education and well-being among tribal communities, the PS Charity Wing Foundation, a charitable initiative of the Pune Social Group, successfully conducted a raincoat donation drive on 20th July, Sunday for children studying at Sevadham Trust Ashram Shala in Malegaon Kh, Maval, Pune.
As part of this impactful initiative, 120 raincoats were donated to schoolchildren, helping them attend classes comfortably during the monsoon season. The funds for this donation were generously contributed by members of the Pune Social Group and volunteers of the PS Charity Wing Foundation.
The drive was led by Chairperson Ria Chauhan and Director Swaroop Roy, alongside dedicated team members including Dr. Jyoti Borse, Roma Bhatia, Kajal Shewale, Vishal Vairat, Vinod Pillai, Sumitha Pillai, and Rahul Pillai. The event took place in the presence of School Principal Pramila Bhalke and the school authorities, who warmly welcomed and appreciated the contribution.
Chairperson Ria Chauhan expressed her gratitude to all contributors and volunteers, saying,
