Pune: 1015 new Corona patients in Pune district, 6 deaths

Pune, Feb 20, 2021: With the addition of 1015 fresh Coronavirus positive yesterday, the total number of COVID cases has reached 3,96,582 in Pune district. Also, 493 patients got discharged from hospitals while 6 people died.
Dr. Bhagwan Pawar, District Health Officer (DHO), said that out of total 3,96,582 patients 3,81,220 have been cured and discharged from hospitals, while 9171 people have died. There are still 6362 active patients undergoing treatment in different hospitals, also out of 6362, 3892 are Home Isolated. Most of the patients are from Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) area. Till now 22,24,610 people have been tested in the district.
The 3,96,582 patients include 19,69,16 from Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) area, 1,02,698 from Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), 7071 from Cantonment areas, 69,726 are from Rural areas, and 20,171 from municipal council (Nagar Parishad) areas in the district.
