Pune: 13-Year-Old Boy Found Murdered, Body Found In Gunny Sack
Kothrud, 25th March 2022: A 13-year-old boy was found murdered near Eklavya College ground in Kothrud on Thursday night. His body was in a gunny sack.
The deceased has been identified as Karan Gopal Rathod, a resident of Mhatobanagar in Kothrud. He was a special child who could not speak.
According to police, some children were playing near the ground and found the gunny bag. When they opened it, they found Rathod’s body and alerted passersby who informed the police. The body was without any clothes.
Police said that the deceased boy’s parents are labourers. They were informed after his identity was established. The body has been sent for autopsy at the Sassoon Hospital.
Late on Thursday night, police had detained a suspect for questioning.
