Pune: 13-Year-Old Molested On Pretext Of Audition

Chakan, 26th December 2022: A well-known industrialist in Chakan molested a 13-year-old minor girl on the pretext of taking an audition.

A case has been registered by the police on the complaint filed by the victim’s mother. As soon as the case was registered, the accused businessman absconded. The police are searching for him.

According to the complaint filed by the victim girl’s mother, accused businessman had come to the victim’s house. This time he lured the victim girl to work in the film industry.

The accused then sent the victim’s parents out of the house on the pretext of auditioning, and the accused made the victim undress. As soon as the victim undressed, the accused took advantage of her innocence and raped her. He also threatened to kill her if she told anyone about this.

The accused threatened the victim girl and fled from there. After the incident, the victim got scared. She told her parents. As soon as the parents of the victim came to know that the girl was abused, they immediately went to the police station and lodged a complaint.

Reportedly, the police have registered a case of rape under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO) against the accused.
