Moshi, 5th July 2022: A 15-year-old boy who has been missing since yesterday, has been found murdered. Pimpri Chinchwad police officials said that he was murdered by his five friends after a dispute over giving cigarettes.

The deceased has been identified as Ashok Bansode, a resident of Bankarvasti in Moshi. Yesterday, his mother lodged a complaint with MIDC Bhosari police station after he did not return home after going out around 2 pm.

According to DCP Manchak Ipper, Ashok had gone out with his friends as they had received information through Instagram that some children from another group would break their pigeon cage. They had taken choppers. However, the other group did not reach the spot near Avishkar society in Borhadewade, Moshi. The boys were drinking. Meanwhile, there was a dispute between Ashok and his friends over sharing cigarettes. One of them hit him with the chopper resulting in his death.
