Pune: 17-Year-Old Girl Stabbed By Criminal For Refusing Proposal
Fursungi, 15th December 2022: A shocking case has come to light from Pune’s Hadapsar area. An attempt was made to kill a 17-year-old girl by stabbing her with a crossbow out of one-sided love. The girl’s minor friend was injured by kicks.
The incident took place on the night of Tuesday (13th December) in Harpale Wasti in Fursungi.
The accused has been identified as Ashish Maruti Dhanke (24), a resident of Harpale Wasti, Fursungi. He is a criminal on a police record.
The complainant girl and the accused live in the same locality. The accused repeatedly chased the minor to molest her. When she refused his proposal, the accused threatened to kill her.
Meanwhile, the accused became angrier when the complainant told all this to the accused’s wife.
He forced his way into the complainant’s house and tried to stab her with a crossbow, saying that he would not leave her alive. Fortunately, the young complainant avoided his attacks.
The accused then turned his march towards the complainant’s friend. She was beaten and hurt with kicks. Hadapsar police have registered a case in this matter, and further investigation is underway.
