Pune: 176 New Covid Patients In Pune District
Pune, 19th September 2022: On Sunday (September 18), 176 people in the district were found infected with Covid-19. The Epidemiological Survey Department of the Maharashtra state gave information about this.
However, the Public Health Department has clarified that there is no reason to panic as most of the corona patients have mild symptoms and are recovering at home.
Out of the 176 new patients found during the day on Sunday, 96 patients are from the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) area. 59 patients have been found in Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) area, while 21 patients have been found in the rest of the district.
In order to prevent the spread of infection, especially co-morbidities and senior citizens as well as unvaccinated citizens are urged to take all necessary precautions including the use of masks.
Due to 176 new patients detected on Sunday, the total number of corona patients in the Pune district has increased to 15,00,014. At present, 1,222 patients in the district are being treated for coronavirus.
