Pune: 20-Year-Old Woman Dies by Suicide at Majestic Oasis Building in Wagholi
Wagholi, 28th February 2026: A 20-year-old woman, identified as Sara Andhare, died after reportedly jumping from the eighth floor of the Majestic Oasis building in Wagholi today around 12:45 PM. She fell from the refuge area of A Wing and sustained fatal injuries. She was immediately taken to Lifeline Hospital, where doctors confirmed her death.
Sara, who had recently completed her 11th grade through an external exam in Karmala, was alone in the building at the time.
Senior Inspector Nandkumar Gaikwad of Wagholi Police Station visited the site, but the reason behind the suicide remains unclear. Her mother and sister were present at home when the incident occurred.
The case has been registered as an accidental death (AD), and further investigation is being conducted by API Ahire of Wagholi Police Station.
