Pune: 28-Year-Old Groom Ends Life on Wedding Day in Talegaon Dabhade

Talegaon, 16th April 2024: In a shocking turn of events, a groom took his own life on the day of his wedding by jumping into a well. The incident occurred in Talegaon Dabhade today morning.

The groom, Suraj Rajendra Raikar, was 28 years old and lived in Talegaon. According to Senior Police Inspector Kishore Patil from Talegaon Police Station, Suraj’s wedding was scheduled for today (Tuesday, 16th April).

A wedding celebration was taking place at his home when, in the morning, Suraj called his uncle and expressed that he did not want to marry. He then left the house. Family members searched for him everywhere, but he could not be found.

Later, the police received information that Suraj’s motorcycle was near a well in Talegaon, not far from his home. Suspecting something was wrong, the police searched the well and discovered Suraj’s body.

Talegaon Dabhade Police are investigating this matter further.
