Pune: 4-Hour Electricity Cut Planned in Bopkhel, Ramnagar, Ganesh Nagar on Friday, April 24
Bopkhel, 23rd April 2026: Residents of Bopkhel, Ramnagar and Ganesh Nagar should prepare for a planned power outage scheduled for Friday, April 24, 2026. The electricity supply will be suspended for four and a half hours, starting from 8:00 AM until 12:30 PM.
According to an official notification issued by Assistant Engineer Kharal, the temporary interruption is necessary to carry out essential maintenance and repair work safely on the 22 kV Bopkhel high-voltage power line.
The power cut will significantly affect several residential zones. The specific areas slated to experience the outage include:
Colony Numbers 1 through 20, and
Road Numbers 1 through 18 in Ganesh Nagar;
Ramnagar,
Bopkhel Gavthan
Electricity consumers in the affected regions are advised to plan their daily activities accordingly and make necessary arrangements to minimize inconvenience during the disruption. The local electricity distribution office expects to restore the power supply promptly by 12:30 PM once the maintenance tasks are completed.
