Pune: 4 Persons Caught Before Looting People In Hadapsar
Pune,5th July 2022: The officials from Crime Branch unit 2 have nabbed four persons who were planning to loot people near a canal leading to Pandhare Mala Sasanenagar behind Hadapsar Vegetable Market.
Acting on a tip-off received by Head Constable Mohsin Shaikh, a team led by Police Inspector Krantikumar Patil laid a trap and nabbed the robbers after a chase around 8 pm on July 3. Police have seized sharp weapons, mobile phones from their possession.
The arrested persons have been identified as Arjun Shivaji Kamble (22) of Latur, Moinuddin Irfan Pathan (22), Ganesh Balaji Bandekar (19), Harshad Shivshankar Tekale (19), all residents of Latur district, Maharashtra. They resided at Gadital Bridge, Hadapsar, Pune. Their fifth accomplice is on the run.
An FIR has been registered against them at Hadapsar Police Station. Out of the four arrested accused, Arjun, Moinuddin and Ganesh have previous cases registered against them for theft and robberies.
Further investigation is being conducted by API Vaishali Bhosale from Unit-2.
