Pune: Girl Attacked With Blade By Youth In Daund, Arrested By Police
Daund, 5th July 2022: A 17-year-old girl was attacked with a blade at Malad Lake in Daund on the Pune-Solapur highway. The accused, Rahul Shrishail Nirje (27) from Sangli, has been arrested by the police.
The incident happened at around 11:30 am today, in which the girl was critically injured.
According to the police, Rahul and the girl went on a bike from her private school to Daund at Malad lake. There he took her to a sugarcane farm and attacked her with a blade on her face and neck. People around came to know about this and caught Rahul and handed him over to the police for further action.
The girl has been admitted to a private hospital for treatment.
