Pune: 40 Passengers Experience Food Poisoning in Bharat Gaurav Yatra Train

Pune Railway Station, 29th November 2023: About 40 passengers on board the Bharat Gaurav Yatra train, traveling from Chennai to Pune, suffered from food poisoning. The incident unfolded as the train reached Pune railway station around midnight.

 

 

Immediate action was taken as the affected passengers were provided with first aid right at the Pune railway station itself.

According to officials, the condition of all the affected passengers is currently stable. The prompt response from the authorities and medical personnel at the railway station played a crucial role in ensuring the well-being of the passengers.

 

According to railway officials, the passengers had taken food through their private contractor. The food items were not supplied by railway staff or IRCTC staff.
