Pune: 40-Year-Old Woman Died After Being Hit By Minor’s Vehicle
Katraj, 2nd January 2022: A 40-year-old woman fell and died due to being hit by a minor’s vehicle. This incident took place on December 28 in the evening at Mangdewadi in Katraj. Bharti Vidyapeeth Police has registered a case of culpable homicide against the concerned minor along with his father.
The deceased woman has been identified as Mahadevi Damaji Pande (40), a resident of Mangdewadi, Katraj. In this regard, a case has been registered against Marippa Vishwarappa Nalakman (45), a resident of Bharat Nagar, Katraj along with his 15-year-old son.
According to the information given by the police, the accused had given his son a bike to ride even knowing that he is a minor and has no right to drive the Jupiter bike.
The concerned boy was driving his vehicle at high speed recklessly. As he lost control of the vehicle, it hit Mahadevi Pandey. She was seriously injured in this accident and died. After the funeral, her husband lodged a complaint.
