Pune: 412 Kg Marijuana Seized By Customs Department

Pune, October 5, 2020: The officials from the Pune customs have detected 412 kgs of marijuana (ganja) from smugglers. They have also seized the truck in which it was being transported.

According to officials, around 8 am yesterday (Sunday) the sleuths had intercepted a truck on Naldurg – Solapur road. Marijuana was packed in 206 plastic packets and concealed in a special cavity on the roof of a truck. The total value of seized ganja and truck is Rs 85 lakh approx.

The officials are further investigating the source and destination of narcotics.
