Pune: 50 Kg Ganja Worth Rs Ten Lakh Seized In Baramati
Baramati, 30th January 2023: The police have succeeded in seizing 50 kg of ganja worth Rs ten lakh, which was being transported from Indapur to Saswad via Baramati in a four-wheeler. Baramati taluka police conducted this operation at Rui Pati near Baramati city.
According to the information provided by the police, the arrested accused has been identified as the four-wheeler driver Sachin Dilip Ranvare (35), a resident of Hivarkar Mala, Saswad, taluka Purandar and Sunita Pratap Chavan (35), a resident of Sanswadi, taluka Shirur and a native of Mahur, taluka Pusad, district Nanded.
Goods worth Rs 15 lakh including marijuana worth Rs ten lakh and a Swift car worth Rs five lakh were seized from them.
