Pune: 55-Year-Old Teacher Booked for Sexual Assault on Minor Student
Viman Nagar, 20th February 2023: A 55-year-old teacher has been booked by Pune city police for allegedly sexually assaulting a 16-year-old minor student.
The teacher, who taught Work Experience in a school, has been accused of inappropriately touching the girl’s head, shoulder, and private parts when she was alone in the classroom. The incident reportedly occurred in August 2019, but it took four years for the victim to come forward during a counseling session at the school.
After the girl filed a complaint, the Vimantal police station registered an FIR against the accused. The accused is a resident of Wagholi and has been identified as the perpetrator of this heinous act.
