Pune: 57 Cadets Of Maharashtra NCC Leave For Delhi To Participate In Republic Day Camp

Shivajinagar, 18th December 2021: After a gruelling training schedule of 45 days, conducted at National Cadets Corps (NCC) Group HQ, Pune the contingent of NCC cadets representing Maharashtra State was flagged off today by Brigadier R K Gaikwad, Commander of NCC Group HQ, Pune in a colourful ceremony.

The contingent is led by Lt Col Aniruddh Sinh and has two Associate NCC Officers Maj Arusha Shete, Second Officer Manoj Firange and 57 Cadets (34 Boys and 23 Girls).

Earlier, Brigadier R K Gaikwad had addressed the contingent and complimented the trainees and cadets for the hard work, sincerity and dedication displayed by them. He expressed confidence in the performance of the cadets.

During the Republic Day Camp 2022, the cadets will compete with 16 other State Directorate Teams in various competitions, display the Culture of Maharashtra and also get to represent Marching Contingent on the Rajpath on 26 Jan 2022.

Cadets were full of enthusiasm, zeal and excitement as they embarked on this Landmark Journey of their lives. The back to back tiring training schedule of the past 45 days could not dampen their spirits.
