Pune: 7-Year-Old Boy Dies In Accident On Handewadi Road, Relatives Set Dumper On Fire

Hadapsar, 27th December 2023: A dumper vehicle collided with a two-wheeler, an Activa, near Mantarwadi Chowk on Handewadi Road.

The deceased, identified as Shaurya Sagar Avhale, was accompanying his mother on the two-wheeler when the collision occurred around 2.30 pm. The impact caused Shaurya to fall under the wheels of the dumper, resulting in his death.

Upon learning about the incident, relatives of the deceased boy expressed their grief and frustration by setting the dumper ablaze. Swiftly responding to the situation, local authorities, including Hadapsar police station team, reached the spot. The fire was promptly extinguished with the assistance of the fire brigade.

Senior Police Inspector Ravindra Shelke, in charge of Hadapsar Police Station, confirmed the detention of the driver.
