Pune: AAP Candidate Manohar Patil’s Nomination Rejected For Chinchwad By-Elections
Pimpri, 8th February 2023: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) suffered a big blow in the Chinchwad assembly constituency. In the scrutiny of the candidate’s application, AAP’s official candidate, Manohar Patil’s candidature has been rejected.
Applications from 40 candidates have been received for the Chinchwad Vidhan Sabha by-election, including BJP, NCP, Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi, AAP and other parties. Scrutiny of candidates’ applications started at 11 am today, in which AAP candidate Manohar Patil did not give an indicative endorsement on the application, and the application was declared invalid. Therefore, the ambition of AAP was swept away in the very first election of the party in the city.
