Pune: AAP Protest Against Shoddy Working Style Of PMC’s Wanowrie Ward Office

Wanowrie, 14th March 2022: Members of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) today held a protest outside Wanowrie Ward Office of the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC). Adv. Manoj Mane and Sarfaraz Shaik (local representative of AAP) led the protest.

The main objective of the protest was the illegal and excessive use of public property by politicians to display and promote political advertisements and hoardings.

A formal request was submitted to the ward officer to uproot the hoardings on streets, parks and civil structures throughout the area. This came after the visit of Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar to the various localities yesterday.

Locals informed that these structures and boards are a safety hazard to people and have been put up excessively throughout Wanowrie causing not only damage to the civil structures but also creating dangerous scenarios for commuters.
