Pune: Absconding Assailants Arrested In Double Murder Case, Yerwada Police Carried Out Operation
Yerwada, 16th November 2022: The Yerwada police have succeeded in arresting the assailants who were absconding after committing a double murder out of prior enmity.
This incident took place on Friday (November 11) around midnight in Lakshminagar in the Yerwada area. The court remanded the accused to police custody till Tuesday (November 15).
The arrested have been identified as Shivshankar Anjankumar Hargud (20), Sahil Ram Kamble (20), Krishna Raju Pawar (23), Nishant Taiappa Chalwada (20), Rohit Parashuram Sanke (21), Gaurav alias Sahil Ravi Chavan (20), Sonu Shankar Rathod (23). Along with them, their minor accomplice has been detained.
Earlier, Shankar Manu Chavan (54), a resident of Yerwada and Badal Shankar Chavan (25) have been arrested. The murderers have been identified as Anil alias Popat Walhekar and Subhash alias Kisan Rathod.
Sub-inspector Ankush Dombale and policeman Datta Shinde got information that the accused was staying in the Wagholi area. Accordingly, the team laid a trap and detained them. During the interrogation, the accused confessed to the crime.
