Pune, 23rd November 2022: Within the jurisdiction of the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI), the Pune Authority has appealed to remove unauthorized encroachments on the service roads between the new Katraj tunnel and Warje on National Highway No 4.

Due to encroachment, the accident rate has increased on national highway 4. As decided in the meeting of the Divisional Commissioner Pune, Police Commissioner Pune City, Commissioner Pune Municipal Corporation, and Project Director of the Authority on Monday (November 21), the encroachment drive on this service road has started.

Therefore, the owners of the property within the limits of the national highway and along the service road on both sides should promptly remove the unauthorized encroachment and construction without permission at their own expense.
