Pune: Newly Purchased Car Goes Out of Control in Bhosari, No Injuries Reported
Pimpri Chinchwad, 5th September 2025: Panic erupted on the Pune-Nashik Highway on Saturday evening when a newly purchased car lost control and swerved across lanes. No one was injured, and no other vehicles were damaged in the incident.
The mishap occurred around 6:30 pm and was captured on CCTV cameras, with the footage quickly going viral on social media. According to initial reports, the car had just been delivered to a resident of Pimpri-Chinchwad from a dealership in Adinath Nagar, Bhosari.
After completing the purchase formalities, the driver reportedly confused the brake with the clutch, causing the vehicle to accelerate unexpectedly. The car then mounted the highway divider and finally came to a stop after colliding with the opposite side of the road.
Despite heavy evening traffic, there were no casualties or significant damage reported. Officials from the Bhosari Traffic Division and Bhosari Police Station confirmed that no formal complaint has been filed regarding the incident.
