Pune: Actress Among 3 Women Found Involved In Prostitution, Pimpri Chinchwad Police Bust Racket

Wakad, 25th February 2022: The Social Security Cell of Pimpri Chinchwad Police busted prostitution on Wednesday at a lodge in Tathawade. By setting a trap, the police have arrested two agents.

The police have released three victim girls from custody. One of the victims is a Chhattisgarh actress and the other two are from Rajasthan and Mumbai.

The arrested agents have been identified as Jitendra Hastimal Bokadia (48) and Hemant Pranabandhu Sahu (32), both residents of Wagholi. An FIR has been registered against them at Wakad police station.

According to the police, Jitendra and Hemant used to send girls to different lodges after getting ‘booking’ orders from WhatsApp calls from their mobiles. The girls used to book rooms in the hotel in their name. The Social Security Cell received the information and accordingly, they set a trap at the lodge at Tathawade on the Pune-Mumbai highway through a fake customer, Police Commissioner Krishna Prakash said.

He further informed that the accused charged upto Rs 40,000 from customers for one night.

The investigation team included Inspector Devendra Chavan, Sub-Inspector Pradeep Singh Sisode, Dhairyashil Solanke, police personnel Vijay Kamble, Kishore Padher, Santosh Barge, Nitin Londhe, Amol Sadekar, Amol Shinde, Maruti Karachunde, Ganesh Karote, Sumit Damal, Atul Lokhande, Sudha Toke, Vaishnavi Gawde, Reshma Jhaware and Sonali Mane.
