Pune: After Being Released On Bail Accused Commits Burglary, Caught Within Two Days By Chandannagar Police Station

Chandannagar, 8th July 2021: A notorious criminal on police has been arrested by Chandannagar police station, Pune city police, two days after he committed burglary.

The arrested persons have been identified as Arjun Singh Rajput Singh Dudhani (45), a resident of Manjari Budruk. Police have recovered 28 grams of gold and silver ornaments from his possession.

While investigating a burglary case, policemen Amit Kamble and Mahesh Nanekar got information that the accused burglar would come to the Manjari area. Accordingly, the squad set a trap, chased the accused and caught him. He had committed the burglary with the help of his two accomplices.

According to police, Arjun Singh has been charged with burglary at various police stations in Pune since 2003. Earlier, he was charged under the stringent Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA).

The action was taken under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone 4) Pankaj Deshmukh, Assistant Commissioner of Police (Yerwada division) Kishore Jadhav and Senior Police Inspector Sunil Jadhav, in-charge of Chandannagar police station.

The team included Police Inspector (crime) Sunil Thopte, PSI Vivek Sisal, ASI Yusuf Pathan, and policemen Tushar Bhivarkar, Mahesh Nanekar, Shrikant Shende, Sachin Kalsait, Amit Kamble, Subhash Awhad and Vikrant Saswadwar.
