Pune Airport Authority Alerts Passengers Due To Rains, Traffic Congestion

Pune, 7th July 2022: The Pune Airport Authority informed via Twitter about the transport situation due to heavy traffic in and around Pune city.
Pune Airport tweeted, “In view of the heavy rains forecast in and around Pune by the India Meteorological Department, passengers are requested to keep additional time for travel to the #PuneAirport as they may face traffic congestion while travelling to the airport.”
An airport official informed that through text messages and calls, all the airlines have also been directed to alert flyers due to the weather condition.
Reportedly last month, due to the monsoon condition, tourists and travellers in and outside of Pune airport also complained about problems like lack of transport and traffic congestion in the area.
