Pune: Warandha Ghat Road Closed For Heavy Traffic During Monsoon
Pune, 7th July 2022: The dangerous part of the main state highway No. 15 Mahad to Pandharpur (newly declared National Highway No. 965 DD) km 81/600 to km 87/00 Warandha Ghat Road to be closed for heavy traffic till September 30, 2022, during monsoon period ordered Collector and Chairman of District Disaster Management Authority Dr Rajesh Deshmukh. Presented by Rajesh Deshmukh.
During the yellow, orange and red signal of the Indian Meteorological Department in the district, the road will be closed for two-wheelers, three-wheelers and light vehicles as well as all other types of vehicles. The order states that the alternative route should be Pune-Pirangut-Mulshi-Tamhini Ghat-Nizampur-Mangaon-Mahad.
