Pune Airport To Vishrantwadi Road Will Be Made Of Cement Concrete – MLA Sunil Tingre

Vishrantwadi, 4th November 2022: The entire road from Vishrantwadi to the Pune airport will now be made of cement concrete. Sunil Tingre, MLA of Vadgaon Sheri constituency, informed that in the meeting of the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), approval has been given for the works of Rs 42 crores of the road in Vadgaon Sheri Constituency along with this road.

 

During the rainy season, the roads leading to the airport from Vishrantwadi via 509 Chowk were potholed. Therefore, MLA Tingre, through a letter to the Municipal Commissioner, demanded that action should be taken against the contractor working on this road and that the entire road should be made of cement concrete. He also demanded immediate repair of the potholed roads in Vadgaon Sheri Constituency.

 

 

Taking cognizance of this demand, the Commissioner has approved the plan of 42 crores for the work of major roads in Vadgaon Sheri Constituency in the Estimate Committee meeting recently. Considering the importance of the road leading to the airport mainly through Vishrantwadi and Tingrenagar, the Municipal Corporation has decided to make this entire road with cement concrete.

Vishrantwadi – 509 Chowk – Airport – Rs 19 crores –

Pune-Ahmednagar Road Resurfacing – Rs 15 crores

Bishop School to Brahma Suncity – Rs 7.25 Crore

509 Chowk to Nagpur Chawl – Rs 1 crore
