Pune: Ajit Pawar To Visit 30 Ganesh Mandals In PCMC Area Today
Pimpri, 8th September 2022: Chief Minister Eknath Shinde planned for the darshan of Lord Ganesha with various dignitaries in the last few days. Meanwhile, the Leader of the Opposition in the Legislative Assembly, Ajit Pawar, is doing the same.
Today, Pawar will be on a tour of Pimpri-Chinchwad. This tour will include visits to Ganesh Mandals only.
Pawar will come to Kalewadi on Thursday afternoon and will continue the tour till late at night. According to the tour plan, he will visit 30 big Ganesha Mandals on the same day. He will also attend the Ganesh Aarti of the Mandals and other functions of the festival.
Pawar has given clear instructions to the local leaders of the party that only the programs related to Ganeshotsav should be included in this tour.
In this regard, NCP has successfully prepared the program. The local leaders of NCP are trying to create a political environment in the city in the background of municipal elections by using Ajit Pawar’s circle.
Pawar has been active in Pimpri-Chinchwad politics since 1992. He has an intimate knowledge of the city due to close to 30 years of continuous contact. He has direct contact with office bearers of many mandals. In the post-corona era, like in other cities, Ganesha Festival is being celebrated with great enthusiasm in Pimpri-Chinchwad too.
The NCP said, “Ajit Pawar is coming to the city to encourage the workers scattered in the circles besides participating in the joy of the city residents”.
