Pune: All Schools To Remain Closed Tomorrow Due To Heavy Rains; PMC, PCMC Issue Order

Pune, 13th July 2022: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted that the heavy rains will continue till 14th July in Pune district. Keeping in view the downpour of the last few days, now authorities have decided to close schools on Thursday, 14th July.
PCMC Municipal Commissioner Rajesh Patil has ordered to keep all private and government schools closed today and tomorrow. He has also issued an order in this regard.
On the other hand, Minakshi Raut, education officer of Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), said that all schools in the PMC area will also remain closed on Thursday. An order in this regard will be issued soon.
Pune Zilla Parishad CEO Ayush Prasad said schools will remain closed in the affected areas and an order is being issued soon.
