Pune: Amadea Enterprises Accused of Forging Rs 147-Crore Payment Letter in Mundhwa Land Fraud Case
Pune, 13th November 2025: In a new twist to the alleged Mundhwa government land fraud case, Amadea Enterprises LLP has been accused of submitting a forged letter claiming payment of a ₹147-crore nazrana (premium) for the purchase of government land.
Social activist Anjali Damania, addressing a press conference on November 12, alleged that the company filed a fake nazrana payment letter and a forged demand draft with the Pune District Collectorate to falsely show that the payment had been made.
According to officials, government-owned land can only be transferred after payment of 50% of its assessed value as nazrana. However, Damania claimed that Amadea Enterprises LLP — a company linked to Parth Pawar — falsely declared that the payment had been made, even though no such transaction occurred.
Following suspicions of fraud, the Pune District Administration referred the case for verification to Pune City Tehsildar Suryakant Yewale, who allegedly played a key role in processing the forged documents.
The disputed land in Mundhwa, owned by the government since 1955 and managed by the State Agriculture College, is classified as Inam Class 2F land, which cannot be sold or transferred without prior state approval. Despite this restriction, entries in the official 7/12 extract were reportedly altered to show private ownership, enabling the alleged illegal transfer.
“This is not just a case of land fraud — it’s a calculated attempt to mislead government authorities and grab public land worth hundreds of crores,” Damania said.
Authorities are now investigating how the forged documents were processed and whether senior officials were involved in facilitating the transaction.
