Pune, 7th June 2023: The Ambegaon taluka of the Pune district is witnessing a surge in leopard sightings, causing increasing concern among its residents. Every day, citizens report encounters with these majestic yet intimidating creatures.
Recently, a leopard made its way onto the veranda of Ramdas Valse Patil’s house in Nirgudsar, presumably in search of potential prey. However, failing to find any, the leopard spent a considerable amount of time in the area before leaving. Surprisingly, the leopard’s unusual behavior took an unexpected turn when it snatched a pair of slippers from the veranda before departing.
This incident was captured on the household’s CCTV cameras, subsequently leading to the video’s viral spread across various social media platforms. The footage showcases the leopard’s daring act, leaving viewers astonished and prompting discussions about the increasing encounters between humans and wildlife in the region.
