Pune: Angry Over Traffic Jam Due To Rush At CNG Pump, Youth Assaults Staff Of Gas Station

Pune, 21st May 2022: CNG pumps are causing traffic jams lately creating frustration among some people which led to some youths directly beating up a staff member at the pump. He has also tried to spread panic by throwing stones at the pump. The incident took place at around 9.30 am on Saturday at Yuvansh Gas Station in Narhe.

There is a daily rush of vehicles to buy CNG at the Yuvansh gas station. As a result, there are daily traffic jams in the area. Similarly from a traffic jam, a young man enquired the staff about it which led to an argument between the two. The situation heated and the young man then called eight or ten other young men and beat the employee. The CNG pump employee’s ear was injured.

Upon receiving the information, Sinhagad Road Police reached the spot and are investigating the CCTV footage of the entire incident.
