Successful Lung Transplant With The Help Of Green Corridor From Pune Airport To Hyderabad Airport

Pune, 21st May 2022: To save the life of one person, the lungs were immediately transported from Pune airport to Hyderabad through the Green Corridor. For this, there was a big rush at Pune airport at 6 am on Friday. All the systems at the airport came together and helped a lot.

 

Around dawn, a patient in Hyderabad suddenly needed a lung transplant and all systems were on high alert. The search for the organ began across the Maharashtra state. At this time, it was learnt that lungs were available at Dr DY Patil Hospital. The organ was brought to Pune airport around 6 am with the help of traffic police.

The organ was delivered to Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences, Secunderabad.

 

The Pune Airport Administration enlisted the help of Central Security Force (CISF) personnel to immediately take the organ out of the crowd at the airport. The Jawans carried the organ box through the security gate through a large crowd of passengers to the plane. Passengers had to wait for some time for this.
