Pune: Anti-Narcotics Squad Seizes Cocaine From Foreign Smuggler
Pune, 14th July 2023: The Anti-Narcotics Squad has arrested a foreign smuggler involved in the sale of cocaine. The arrest took place within the Vishrantwadi police station limits, where six grams of cocaine with an estimated value of 1 lakh 20 thousand were confiscated.
While conducting routine patrols, policemen Sandeep Shirke and Pravin Uttekar received information about the presence of cocaine smugglers. Acting swiftly, the anti-narcotics squad identified a foreign national, Patrick Amos alias Bora (39), openly selling cocaine to known individuals on the road in front of the Bombay Sappers on Alandi Road.
Police have seized 6 grams of cocaine, three mobile phones, a two-wheeler, passport, identity card, bank passbook, and other related items from Amos, who is a citizen of South Africa.
